Custom e-learning platforms and SCORM courses

At 150 Por Ciento we build learning platforms and interactive content people actually finish. SCORM and xAPI courses, custom LMS and real progress tracking — so training stops being a folder of PDFs nobody opens.

For companies, universities and organizations training teams spread across several countries.

What we solve with e-learning

Nobody wants “a platform”. What needs solving is this:

  • Training that amounts to a PDF and a video call nobody remembers
  • No way to prove to an auditor who was trained and on what
  • Courses bought from a vendor that can’t be adapted to your operation
  • Content that breaks in the client’s LMS because it isn’t SCORM-compliant
  • Teams spread across countries, time zones and connectivity levels
  • Zero visibility into who is progressing, who drops off, and at which module

If you can’t measure who learned, you’re not training: you’re filing.

Custom LMS, Moodle, or standalone SCORM courses?

It depends on where the content will live. Our rule:

  • Standalone SCORM courses: when your client or company already has an LMS and just needs content that runs inside it
  • Customized Moodle: when you want a complete, proven platform with a low startup cost
  • Custom LMS: when training is part of your product, you need an experience of your own, or you’re going to sell the courses

The SCORM standard exists precisely so content isn’t held hostage by the platform. We always honor it.

What kind of solutions we deliver

  • Interactive courses in SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and xAPI
  • Custom LMS platforms, with your brand and your business logic
  • Moodle implementation and customization
  • Interactive content: simulations, assessments, gamification
  • Automatic certificates and audit traceability
  • Integration with HR and payroll systems
  • Migration of existing content to the SCORM standard

We design for real connectivity: content has to work on a weak signal and on mobile too.

How we do it

1. Learning discovery
  • We define what the person must be able to do at the end, not what topics to cover
  • We review the LMS and HR systems you already use
  • We choose the standard and platform based on where the content will live
2. Instructional design
  • Module structure, pacing and assessments
  • Script and interactions before production starts
  • A pilot module prototype to validate the format
3. Production and development
  • Interactive content production and SCORM packaging
  • Platform development or customization
  • Compatibility testing in the target LMS and on mobile
4. Rollout and follow-up
  • Upload, administrator training and documentation
  • Dashboards for progress, completion and assessment results
  • Content adjusted based on where people drop off

Frequently asked questions

How much does an e-learning platform cost?

A customized Moodle LMS starts at 4,000 USD. A custom platform with its own logic and course sales usually runs between 15,000 and 60,000 USD. SCORM course production is quoted per module based on interactivity.

What is SCORM and why do I need it?

SCORM is the standard that lets a course run in any LMS and report progress and grades consistently. If your content isn’t SCORM, it’s tied to the platform it was built in — you can’t move it elsewhere or hand it to a client using their own LMS.

Can you build courses that run in the LMS we already have?

Yes. We produce content packaged in SCORM or xAPI and test it directly in your LMS before delivery — Moodle, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone or whichever you use.

Moodle or a custom platform?

Moodle if you want to train your team with a low startup cost and proven functionality. Custom if training is part of your product, you’re going to sell the courses, or you need an experience Moodle can’t deliver. We’ll recommend one with numbers during discovery.

How long does development take?

A Moodle-based platform takes 6 to 10 weeks. A custom LMS, 3 to 5 months. Producing a SCORM course runs 2 to 6 weeks per module depending on interactivity.
